Unfortunately the base is not in a standard height, it is just 1/5 or ¼ height. It is not a perfect set but you will not find a better set for the price it requires. Should you need a more stylish toy, you can consider having the Lego 4+ Basic Bulk Set.
We should have this set to supplement the pink little girls set which includes jump ropes on the box because together they are a practical although small collection. Like the defense department that has an army enough to fight a war in two theatres at once, having Legos enough to make 2 houses is a must have; that is unless you have 2 kids or more.
